WHY OKLAHOMA
Oklahoma is Professor Hill’s home state and the place where she broke barriers as the first Black professor to receive tenure at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Yet today, the state ranks last in the nation for women’s economic mobility, a powerful reminder that the very systems she challenged remain deeply entrenched. Hosting this event in Oklahoma is a tribute to her legacy.
