Why we do it
Despite fueling local economies, the new majority of entrepreneurs face systemic barriers that restrict growth. Women professionals remain underrepresented in decision-making roles and disproportionately shoulder unpaid caregiving, limiting long-term wealth building. These outcomes are not accidental. They are the result of systems that were not designed with equity in mind.
Our theory of change is simple: when we shift who has access to capital, leadership pathways, and policy influence, we shift who holds economic power. And when economic power is more widely distributed, local economies grow stronger for everyone.
