StitchCrew, in partnership with VEST, is proud to welcome a new group of women entrepreneurs into the Fall 2025 cohort of the VESTING Women program. This program is a development experience designed to support and scale women-led companies by helping founders build their leadership capacity, refine their business models, and grow sustainably. Over the course of the next year, these founders will participate in a hybrid experience that blends executive-style coaching, skill-building workshops, and the power of a peer-driven community. From financial strategy to marketing, leadership, and team development, the program meets them where they are, while helping them move toward what’s next.
Why This Cohort Matters
Even as entrepreneurship becomes more visible, the reality for many women founders—especially those outside major coastal cities—remains the same: a lack of relevant support, trusted community, and accessible resources tailored to their growth stage. According to recent research, women-owned businesses represent nearly 40% of all U.S. businesses but receive less than 2% of venture capital funding. And those who are bootstrapping or self-funding often lack access to tailored resources and peer support.
The VESTING Women program aims to close this gap, supporting women-led businesses in Oklahoma as they transition from working in their business to working on it. This isn’t just about business coaching. It’s about helping founders reclaim their time, trust their voice, and build on the strengths they already have.
“Creating a more inclusive economy starts with backing women where they are. We’re proud to support local women building real businesses, and help them grow on their own terms." – Gabriela Eichenlaub, Program Director
